OWL
The Ordinary Wizarding Level (often abbreviated O.W.L.) is a series of subject-specific standardised tests taken during Hogwarts students' fifth year to determine if they has mastered magic to the standard level that any competent wizard should have been able to achieve. These exams are administered by the Wizarding Examinations Authority and had been around since at least the late 1800s.
Each subject has its own O.W.L. exam. The score achieved by a student on a particular O.W.L. determine whether or not that student would be allowed to continue studying in the more advanced classes of that subject in their sixth and seventh years. If students do not score high enough on a subject's O.W.L., then they would not be allowed to take that class anymore. Exam scores also determine what type of job a student could pursue once they graduated Hogwarts.
As well as referring to the test that students take in their fifth year, the term "O.W.L." also referred to the type of class, i.e. the level of difficulty of the classes the student took in their first through fifth years at Hogwarts. In addition, "achieving an O.W.L." is used to refer to a class in which the student has passed their O.W.L..
NEWT
The Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Test (often abbreviated N.E.W.T.) is a series of subject-specific standardised tests take during Hogwarts students' seventh year to determine if they has mastered magic at the advanced level that not everyone is able to achieve.
Each subject had its own N.E.W.T. exam. The scores achieved by a student on their N.E.W.T.s are what potential employers looked at when said student is looking for a career after their graduation, so passing these exams is critical. Some careers, such as Auror or Healer, required a student to earn top grades in as many as five N.E.W.T.s.
As well as referring to the test that students took in their seventh year, the term "N.E.W.T." also referred to the type of class, i.e. the level of difficulty of the more advanced classes the student took in their sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts. In addition, "achieving a N.E.W.T." is used to refer to a class in which the student had passed their N.E.W.T. exam.
Quidditch
The most popular and well-known game among wizards and witches.
Quidditch is a wizarding sport played on flying broomsticks. The game is played by two teams with seven members each. The object of the game is to score more points than the opposing team.
Chaser
Beater
Keeper
Seeker
Chaser is a position in the wizarding sport of Quidditch. The Chasers throw the Quaffle to each other and try and get it through one of the hoops to score a goal.
Chaser is a position in the wizarding sport of Quidditch. There are three Chasers per team. The Chasers controll the Quaffle and attempt to get it through the goal hoops past the Keeper.
Each goal is worth ten points. This make them similar to the forwards in football, as the game is generally started with the referee releasing the Quaffle into the air for the Chasers to try and claim possession of.
Beater is a position in the wizarding sport of Quidditch. There are two Beaters on every Quidditch team, and they are the only players on the pitch who has bats, although it is not a foul for a Beater to temporarily pass a bat to a non-Beater in a match.
Their job is to keep the Bludgers away from their team and at the same time try and aim the Bludgers towards the opposite team. However, aiming Bludgers at the audience is a foul known as Bumphing.
Keeper is a position in the wizarding sport of Quidditch. There is one Keeper per team, and it is their job to guard the three goalposts attempting to stop the other team's Chasers from scoring. The Keeper also wear the most protection than any other position, which includ a helmet, shoulder/chest pads and knee pads. This effectively made them heavier than most of their other team-mates.
Keepers are typically well-built and athletic players who usually stuck close to the goal posts where they can deploy their defensive skills to their fullest capacity.
Seeker is a position in the wizarding sport of Quidditch. There is one Seeker per team. The goal of the Seeker is to catch the Golden Snitch. They play a crucial role in Quidditch, as a game do not end until the Seeker catch the Snitch. A team whose Seeker catch the Snitch receive 150 points, which almost always win the match for that team.
Seekers are generally the smallest and lightest players on a team, and there is a certain glamour attach to playing as a Seeker. Generally, the Seeker is also the most fouled player on the team.

Welcome to
Diagon alley
Diagon Alley is a cobblestoned wizarding alley and shopping area located in London, England behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. All items on the Hogwarts supply list can be bought at Diagon Alley.
Inside the Alley is an assortment of restaurants, shops, and other sights; some even has tables out front with coloured umbrellas. Particularly during the days or weeks before school starts at Hogwarts, the location is packed with witches and wizards, though shops are open year-round as witches and wizards travelled to the location for various goods. While the shops included many school-supply locations, there are also many locations important to the wizarding world, such as Gringotts Wizarding Bank and Ollivanders.
A Shopping List is given to students attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry each year over the summer holidays before starting their first term in September, listing what supplies they would need for that year, including books, uniforms, equipment, and other wizarding paraphernalia. All of the necessary Hogwarts's supplies could be bought in Diagon Alley, in London.
The different books and items are chosen by the teachers of each subject, so if the school has a new teacher, the books required for that subject may have changed. Not everyone in a particular year would need the same supplies, as students did not always take the same subjects. For first-years, the list of supplies come along with their Hogwarts acceptance letters.

Wizarding bank
Gringotts
Gringotts Wizarding Bank is the only wizarding bank in Great Britain, and is owned and operated by goblins. It is founded by a goblin named Gringott in 1474. Its main offices are located around the North Side of Diagon Alley in London, England. In addition to storing money and valuables for wizards and witches, one could go there to exchange Muggle money for wizarding money. The currency exchanged by Muggles is later returned to circulation in the Muggle world by goblins. Other than Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Gringotts is the safest place in the wizarding world.
From Diagon Alley, a set of white stairs lead up to a set of burnished bronze doors. The doors are flanked by a goblin in a uniform of scarlet and gold. This is the entrance to Gringotts, and it lead into a small entrance hall and another set of doors. Through these doors, also are flanke with goblins, is a vast marble hall long counters stretching along its length with doors leading off to the vault passageways with around a hundred goblins sitting at them. The vaults extended for miles under the city and are accessible through rough stone, complex and interconnected passageways by means of magic carts that were operated by goblins. Dragons and other mysterious beasts lurked in the depths as additional security devices.
